Equine Craniosacral in person Class

This could well be the next wave in equine health. If you are not riding the crest you are getting drowned in the back wash. Look at the download and pray about this as part of your future. It will never be any closer to you and the price is right. The horse will always be a part of our culture and it will not be the back yard horse that is waiting for food and waiting to die. These are performance animals and worth more than your pick up, maybe even your house. If I could take away 60 years of living, I would be all over this. Penicillin and lidocaine are not the future. Neither are neurectomies and DMSO. The future is now. I have lived and loved the past, but is just exactly that, THE PAST. Tell others also, as good news is to be shared.

Shea , the class was fantastic on so many levels. I am still processing from a few weeks ago. It has definitely changed me in a way I didn’t suspect . . I can’t wait for more!

I feel very blessed to have been able to travel to Texas and afford such an amazing class! I leaned SOOO much and had the privilege to work on two horses there. Equine Balance by Shea Stewart is such a fantastic teacher who designed a brilliant course that taught the history, concepts, practitioners, horse anatomy, points of contact, deeper concepts, and hands on experience of craniosacral! I’m very excited to see the change in the horses I meet as I grow in my journey of healing the horse from within!

Course requirements - Equine Craniosacral Level 1

Prerequisites for this class is to familiarize yourself with the structures of the skull. One of my favorite craniosacral books is still Hugh Milne’s The Heart of Listening. It is very well written and a great way to introduce you to the work.

You must have basic horse handling skills. If you wish to take this class and have no horse handling skills, contact me to schedule some lessons.

It is also highly suggested that you receive a craniosacral session if you have never experienced it. Please reach out if you need a reference.

      Course structure

      Morning: 9:30am – 12pm – classroom

      Lunch break: 12pm – 1:30pm

Afternoon: 1:30 – 5pm – attuning exercises and hands on practice then ending in class

(These times may not be exact)

Each day we will start in the classroom for lecture and slide show presentation. I have created an extensive video collection of 3D animations of the craniosacral rhythms, and how the bones articulate together, to give you visuals of this subtle system.

We will also learn the history of craniosacral, the different craniosacral concepts, and about the four documented rhythms in the craniosacral system. We will also cover skull anatomy, cranial nerves, and the fluid matrix of the body, tissue compressions, and how this all relates to the nervous system.

The afternoon portion will be outside working with the horses and practicing our hands on techniques that we have learned.

The last day we will do a full protocol with the horses and will be finished by 2PM if you are making travel arrangements.

For classes in Fort Worth, options to stay in the bunkhouse at the camp is available for $50 per night. Please let us know if you plan to stay at the camp. Otherwise there are lots of hotels and Air BNB’s nearby.
